Morning all! Lou in today!

I thought I would pop in this morning with my latest make using the stunning  Autumn Magic from Saturated Canary. I love this one because autumn and all those lush  golds and browns and crunchy leaves is just one of my favorite times of year.

I was in a Lou froo mood too so made a couple of my fav big flowers, DieNamics Rolled Daisy, and then scooched a couple more in from my stash a la flowers in some lovely autumny colours!

#A Very fairy Door....

So, today I am sharing a lil magic!! something to cheer me up and it came right in the form of the awesome fairies that Krista has drawn for Kimberly and Carlie's awesome A Very Fairy Door project. Please quickly click on the video below to get a look at this uber exciting project.

I went for a good old accordian card fold for my make using a tutorial that came through in my splitcoast stampers email yesterday, it was so cute I had to have a go at it but I wanted to add a little band to keep it closed too so that's all I added on. You can find the tutorial here. And here it is all closed up...

Back to School with Mya

Happy beautiful Tuesday, everyone! It's Joni here, hoping your week is off to a great start. I know for many of us, September means that the house is a little emptier with all the kiddos off to school. Funny how the house is emptier, but I feel like I'm busier. lol!
With this new month, I just knew I wanted to use this sweet image Mya to celebrate:
 

She actually reminds me of my son's classmate in first grade. :) I colored Mya up with copics and used a fun technique for the flowers:
Simply make five dots in a circle, then add in another dot right in the middle. Easy peasy!

I changed the flower colors for her socks, and then did stripes for her backpack using a white Ink Essentials pen. You can find Mya here at Krista's shop, but be sure to browse all those wonderful pages before you decide to check out.
