A few words from Krista about Pintrest...

Morning everyone!

I have no make to share with you this morning because Krista needed to highlight something for you all....

"Please remember everyone --->Pinterest sucks<--- for digi artists. There is really no way around it~ it can be a very annoying, troublesome problem. Very bad versions of my artwork (broken lines) have been uploaded and continue to be pinned and re-pinned. Please remove ALL digi boards from your accounts that have unwatermarked versions of digital stamps on them (from any artist!). We (artists) appreciate the customers who continue to report these pinners and their boards. Also, for those of you who leave comments letting others know it is wrong~ ALL of you are helping in tremendous ways and we really do appreciate it! Spread the word and please continue to respect our art so we can continue to sell digital stamps!"

Have an awesome weekend loves
xx

  1. Gosh YES - I so agree.... Pintrest is a nightmare and just the right place for these darn Pirates to work in. I don't know if people really think about what they are doing when they 'pin' stuff - I would hope that they are not all aware of it and they are just dumb !!!
So sorry you are still having your lovely work 'stolen' :-(

  3. And join Stamp Out Stamp Theft facebook group to learn more about it. I think Krista's images are rampant on Pinterest and while I love my own Pinterest site, I am aware that these images are being spread all over the WORLD- some are ignorant of the effect it has on the artist and others are blatantly sharing knowing full well it is illegal. Pinterest does little, sadly, to stop this. Here is the link - https://www.facebook.com/groups/138498463022532/

  7. I understand what you are saying....but it's TRULY not so much a Pinterest issues, but a PEOPLE issue and the fact that they are STEALING and posting the images on Pinterest!! SHAME on them!! I have reported images that I have come across on Pinterest and they have REMOVED them!! I'm sorry that this happens, but I happy to like Pinterest for other reasons!!

Rubberstamps are suddenly digi's, and lot's og yours and other digis are there for grabs. I commented on one of them, and said that this is not ok. But what can little me do, other than NOT UPLOAD theese images, AND have the Stamp out badge in my blog..
Good luck, and keep on deawing your gorgeous images..

    Hugs, Kaia

  9. When I watched on pinterest the color samples copic, I came to your graphics. it's even worse than stealing because smuggled graphics were not bought, but were wiped security watermark. I have no words to write what I think of the person who placed it. No respect for telent, time and work creator- how can they do that?

  10. most shops have colorful pictures in the sample, in order to reduce the amount of theft. It is sad that they have to constantly think about how to protect art from thieves.
