Inked Pretty

Hey Lovelies, Jen here. Happy Sunday!!. I just wanted to share a little card today with you all.

I have coloured up Inked Pretty with copics. I wanted the whole card to feel very light and summery, so I just distressed the edges, and layered on white card. I framed the image with a ring of Machine stitching using White Top stitch thread from the Ribbon girls. To add the eclectic layering I have added 2 types of lace (32mm Victoria antiques fine cluny lace, and 32mm Corrissa ivory lace) I added 3mm Aqua Berisford satin and bow on top! kept the flowers all white, except for a pop of Aqua with Rolled Kort and Godt Aqua roses, and ticked a Little Bird cage with heart on in too. All these bits can be found in the Ribbon Girls shop.

Thanks for popping in, Have a great day. xx

we have hit that uber exciting Grad time of year again and Krista has rocked out and given us the fabulous new Graduation releases for 2015.

I LOVE this chick! she looks so proud and happy...and of course, a lil cheeky!! to be graduating!!

I made the sentiment up using word ( I love doing that because you can change up the fonts to get the part of the sentiment you want to really pop out, in this case it was the 'GRAD' bit!!)

Now!! for some super exciting news!! I often get asked which type of cardstock I colour on with my promarker pens and as a super duper treat for you all, the people I get my cardstock from are giving away a box of 120gsm Diamond White. Dt Franz and Neeve

Hi everyone!

Dt Franz here today with a card I made a while ago, it's the one I created for the Complete Cardmaking Magazine, Issue nr. 56.

All the dt girls have been so lucky to create samples for the magazine to feature the 9 amazing Krista's images you can get with your copy of the magazine, I felt so honored!

I used a lovely image called "Neeve", isn't she too lovely?

(Image: Saturated Canary - Neeve)

I used my loved copics for colouring.
Papers are from Maja Design and I added some ribbons, laces, flowers and pearls.

Wine O'clock anyone?.............

Hey lovelies, Jen here, This is a little creation I made a little while back using one of the special stamps Krista designed for Complete Cardmaking magazine. I used Wine O'clock, isn't she lush. I am so going to indulge in a few glasses tonight!

I coloured her with my Copics, and decided to match her up with these lush papers from Maja. I picked out the peach in the floral for all the embellies and flowers. I went to town with all my wine/drink bits. I found a cork screw charm and a model size wine bottle to pop in my flowers, and well given the name of her I had to find a little wooden clock in my stash haha! Then added a little Peach seam binding, with a little 32mm Corrissa Ivory Lace.

Have a great weekend, thanks for popping in. xx

4 copics and a cup of coffee :)

Happy beautiful Monday everyone, I hope your weekend went exactly the way you wanted it to. ;)
I posted a card on Saturated Canary's Facebook page last week and had the sweetest comments. Thank you all so much, it just made my day!
Here is the card that I posted:

Oooh she's such a sweet image! Zoe can be found right here in Krista's Spring Pack,
which includes FIVE digital images that were previously rubber stamps (eeek!). How can you say no to that deal? (Um...Mother's Day is coming up. I think you deserve this bundle.)

So I decided to do an easy picture tutorial on how I colored her up. Grab these 4 copics and your morning cup of coffee (just to wake up...I didn't use coffee on my card - lol!):

(Please note that I am not copic certified. I just tinker until I'm happy.)
Here we go!

Now she's ready for a card! Although I used red ribbon in my first card, I paired her with this pretty aqua. Colored ribbon gives it a nice pop and shows that the image is indeed done in b/w tones:

I hope you enjoyed this quick tutorial! Please let me know if you tried it with different combos or with a different medium, I'd love to see it! You can tag me {Joni Wilson} on the Saturated Canary Stamps Facebook page or pop on to my blog and leave me a comment.

Have a great start to your week, everyone! Thank you for coming by to see me. :)
