Flute ♥

Hello everyone,
have you unwrapped all your Christmas gifts?!

I received lots of lovely goodies and I'm so happy to be at home with my family for a little rest during the winter; it's cold outside and I love staying at home with the fire on the fireplace, a scented candle and a hot chocolate!
...it's the perfect period for some relaxing time (when everybody is sleeping eh eh!) that I generally spend knitting or colouring of course!

For today's card I coloured this lovely and delicate Krista's image using the "Distress Technique" with my Copics, to make her sooo romantic!

Korra's Christmas Sweater

Happy Monday everyone! Joni here, hoping you had a great weekend. :) I was both lazy and productive - which translates to a great combo. I finished up all of my wrapping and even took a two hour nap yesterday. A rarity indeed!
With my entire family in the holiday spirit, I was so excited to color up this cutie Korra:

She is a part of Another Bunch of Digis (9 images total!) for an amazing price of $8. Korra does not come with that ugly sweater - but I thought she'd be adorable in one. I colored her up in copics, then left a blank area to sketch out a simple tree. No sweater would be complete without over the top bling and matching tights. :) I paired her with some loud fun patterned paper from Michaels {Recollections}.
You can find Korra here along with all the other perfect digis from Saturated Canary here at Krista's shop. Have a wonderful day everyone! Thank you for stopping by to say hello. :)

Dt Franz and Xmas Dress ♥

Hello everybody Saturated Canary lovers!

Franz here with a Christmas card again...
I found this girl by Krista too sweet and as soon as I saw her (and her dress!), I thought of  RED, the most Christmas colour of all!
...so RED is her skirt and about all of my card too!

RED is one of the hardest colours to manage I think, but it can give you lot of satisfaction!
After some attempts, I think I have found the Copic Markers combo that works better for me and now I'd love to colour every image in red!

Maybe also because Christmas is just around the corner?!! :P

Hello everyone,
It's SILVIE here today..... I haven't posted a SC card for a while here... I have been going throught some life altering changes that made me stay away from my crafting passion but I'm very happy to be back today to share some Saturated Canary love with you.
My card today features the very beautiful 'FIRST SNOW'

Image is colored with Copics. I was afraid that I wouldn't know how to color after such a long time and I have to admit that I feel pretty nervous to be posting today, so please be kind with me :)
Hope you are feeling a bit inspired by my little card. If you need more deets, you can find them on my blog.
Thanks for popping in today and have a lovely day everyone!!

First Snow

Happy Monday, everyone!
It's Joni here, in serious disbelief that it's the middle of December. Oh. My. Goodness. This is the fastest month in the entire year! Nevertheless, I am celebrating the season with Krista's First Snow image:

It's going to be 75* today here in South Carolina, so I am living December vicariously through this beauty. :) I colored her up in copics, then cut her with the window technique. At first it's always daunting to think that you're slicing up an already colored image (ack!), but the results are always such a fun, optical illusion. I used an embossed snowflake folder for the main card, then added a snowflake embellishment to the top window.

You can find First Snow here at Krista's shop, as well as sooo many beautiful, new releases. Be sure to treat yourself to some, especially since you've been on the 'nice' list all year! (*wink wink*)

Have a great day everyone, thank you for coming by.

Christmas Attire...

Morning everyone!
Lou in with a post for you today using Christmas Attire. She is such a sweetheart.

Whenever I feel a bit stuck at what card to make, I switch t out and make myself a tag for my tag collection! I have tonnes of these little beauties. I use them to pop on the windowsill to dress it up on a little easel I bought from the range for £1. Its so nice to change them out and have something new to make me smile in a morning.

Huge hugs Lou xxx

Art Journal Inspiration

Hi everyone!

It's DT Yani here with another inspirational post for you today.

This time I created a double-spread page on my art journal featuring the lovely Winter Tammi stamp...

I used Prismacolor Pencils to color her on Bristol Vellum Surface paper. Then I did a fussy cut around the image, and adhered it to my colored page.

For the background I used Dylusions Paints by Ranger, Inc. And the little prayer to the left is my own handwriting, which I did using Prismacolor Premier Assorted Markers.

I hope that you liked it! Thanks for stopping by!!
